Let’s Talk Spiritual Attack

Or maybe it means we must acknowledge that evil walks among us? However you feel about it, spiritual attacks are absolutely real, and they can have devastating consequences that influence our physical lives and our spiritual direction. New Year New Focus

Welcome to 2021!

What a year 2020 was! That is pretty much an epic understatement at this point is it not?

I realise for many this year caused much stress and upheaval not too mention illness and loss but, I do believe that there is healing to be had in amongst it all. Believing everything happens for a reason is very much a part of my spiritual belief system so I was able to fall into a place of acceptance very quickly and go with the flow with whatever was thrown my way. I have no issue with change personally and maybe it is that I’m a water sign, but I’m comfortable going with the flow and being open to what is and tuning into whatever messages are there for me.

Feel To Heal

Feelings are feedback on how you are doing on your soul path. How we feel is our soul's way of speaking to us and is no different from us acknowledging a ‘gut instinct’. Every single feeling is valid and has meaning and it is why it is so important to be present and in your body, in your feelings as much as possible but more importantly self-aware because our feelings don’t always tell the full story.

One Day At A Time

Each day our soul issues are bubbling away, slogging their way to the surface. Energies rise, feelings are felt, and the body reacts or responds with pain, discomfort, dis-ease or anxieties.

How do we function within the constraints of the physical world while walking the spiritual path feeling all the feels, healing our soul and growing?

How Free Is Our Will?

Free will fascinates me for so many reasons. Often in sessions I work to clear blocks, false beliefs and traumas that limit us from becoming our true selves and this sometimes presents as my clients saying that they ‘can’t’ do some things they notice they should. For example, they should leave a toxic marriage or relationship, they should eat to nourish their body with healthy foods, they should meditate or do yoga, they should quit alcohol, they should not take things personally, they should live in their truth etc. We generally know all this, right?

My Journey

Thinking about my healing journey feels like a lifetime ago and looking back, the change is beyond extraordinary. I was a different person. I was suffering on all levels of my being; emotionally, mentally and physically. Very insecure of myself, anxiety ridden and depression would come and go, angry and reactive and enduring great chronic pain.

Sounds Like A You Problem

Sounds like a you problem; a little harsh? Maybe to some. As humans we struggle with the spiritual idea that we are not responsible for anyone but ourselves. It seems odd to us to consider we were put on this earth to focus on our own personal growth and healing (which raises the vibration and consciousness of the planet) and we seem somewhat selfish when we do.

MidLife Crisis Or Spiritual Awakening?

Is a midlife crisis a wake-up call? Whether you use the term midlife or crisis what is actually going on at the soul level is definitely some sort of wake-up call. Maybe you are feeling lost, depressed or anxious about your life path or suddenly questioning aspects of your life choices to date. These feelings of confusion and self-doubt absolutely feel intense and like a crisis. These feelings can occur at any time of life not just at midlife although this is common, and it absolutely is a wake-up call

Feeling Stuck?

There has been so much information around being authentic and living life as your truest self; to be honest under all conditions and in all situations at all times and this is most important when embarking on your spiritual/healing journey.

What Ails The Soul Ails The Mind

During a client session this week her soul took us back to a life-time 400 years ago when her then twin was suffering with severe mental health issues and ultimately took both her life and my clients life prematurely.

This was interesting enough but it did get me thinking about how mental health was addressed in ancient times and I wonder have we lost perspective in our modern culture when dealing with mental health issues?
