The Path Can Be Tough

My personal journey along with my work as a spiritual healer has shown me quite clearly that there is no such thing as black or white and that there are definitely situations that are grey and it is within the grey area that more often than not there is a soul issue that requires healing or resolving.

it is within the shadows

There are some things that can only be seen in a certain light and it is within these shadows of our soul that demand the most attention. These are the false beliefs that have taken up residency in the sub-conscious that steer us off path or it could be a little self sabotage along the way, but, no matter what the issue it absolutely takes a certain amount of self awareness to be able to see when we’ve fallen or lost our way. 

I know I would’ve given up on my path as a spiritual healer a long time ago if I believed the new age teachings at the time that were constantly spouting that if you are on the right path it will be easy, everything will flow, doors and windows will fly open and all will be sunshine and rainbows.

Yeah ... No.

The spiritual path is brimming with twists and turns and highs and lows because it ebbs and flows. There is a natural sometimes annoying rhythm to the process of being on the path and it ought to be respected. Just because you think you are ready and know where you want to be, we have to remember that our souls are teeming with lifetimes of issues that need to be healed along the way. I’m not going to lie it does take a certain amount of faith to stay positive and focused during the lows. 

Generally, it isn’t up to us to determine what issue surfaces for healing, when we are ready something will surface (trigger) and if healed with a session like mine we can expect to have a day or so of the energy itself processing, or as my mentor likes to say “let the dust settle” and then you can reconvene to see where you’re at to determine if something else has surfaced immediately or maybe if you are lucky you get some time to enjoy a sense of calm and peace for a while before the next issue demands your attention.

jealousy is a curse after all

If you know and I mean really know that you are supposed to be a certain someone or supposed to be doing a certain something but things just aren’t flowing how you’d hoped, don’t give up,  book a healing session. I have seen too many people quit before they even begin because they are misreading the signs.  Something that can get in the way is sabotage, maybe it is self sabotage but maybe it isn’t, jealousy is a curse after all. Of course it could always be something left field like a soul issue from a past life throwing a spanner in the works. 

A session just this week highlighted this very point actually. My client works in the spiritual sector and was feeling like giving up altogether and was questioning whether she should continue with her spiritual business. I found there was 2000% stress around her spiritual work. No wonder she felt like throwing in the towel! The stress I was told traced back approximately 500 years. Not only did I need to clear curses attached but there was a pattern of persecution of religious beliefs which was triggering panic and this incredible stress. Considering her current business this made a lot of sense, there was more to the story which I’ll keep private but I will share that fear of judgement was also in the mix. This energy was cleared and the need to quit work vanished before the session was over. Magic!

it is ok to not be ok

Anyone who really knows me, knows I’m a straight shooter and I value honesty so with that in mind let me assure you that the path isn’t always easy, it is not always sunshine and rainbows and vision boards abound with positive affirmations. Sometimes it is tough, anxiety ridden and downright depressing but if you push through, persist, trust and have faith you will get through the hard times. We have to walk through the darkness to get to the light, the darkness will try to mislead you and dim your light but if you seek healing at each road block you’ll be supported and guided along the way. We don’t have to do it alone and it is ok to need a little bolster.
