One Day At A Time
Each day our soul issues are bubbling away, slogging their way to the surface. Energies rise, feelings are felt, and the body reacts or responds with pain, discomfort, dis-ease or anxieties.
How do we function within the constraints of the physical world while walking the spiritual path feeling all the feels, healing our soul and growing? As we walk the path our perceptions evolve, things that once were important are no longer. Relationships and friendships are illuminated and sometimes that means transformation. We grow to be dispassionate and have a greater empathetic view and tolerance as we no longer take anything personally.
Not all past life connections are healthy.
We appear selfish and righteous and maybe in some ways we are, but we know on a profounder level it is for our highest good. Some who walk the path say we are all connected but I see that we have connections and not of all these are healthy bonds and a big part of the journey is this awareness and recognising our truth, what and who are healthy for us and what falls under the social construct of what is expected of us.
The spiritual pilgrimage is hard. It forces us to face our soul and our issues gathered from trauma and experiences from all of our lifetimes and be honest about who we are and what got us here. The path requires a lot of introspection, taking stock of who we are and where we are. It means genuine change, and for so many of us change is so debilitating that we stand stagnant for so long we go backwards. Fear and lack of faith allow us to endure in toxic environments which prevent us from fulfilling our purpose and destiny.
What is my purpose?
My clients all want to learn what their purpose is, but the truth of it is until we heal, it may not be revealed. We often have more than one purpose in a lifetime, and I know for sure that it all begins with healing our souls.
The physical world is designed with fear as its backbone, to intimidate and create a structure of hierarchy and separateness where issues are dumped, projected and sprinkled like dust. It is a place where a social construct demands we deny our authenticity to follow rules we never agreed to for acceptance.
So, how do we function in this physical world while walking the spiritual path?
