Live Your Truth Intuitively

The value of our intuition is highly underrated in my opinion. Our intuition is a magical connection we have to our higher self and a power greater than us (whatever that may be for you). Used and practiced it becomes stronger, deafening really; it becomes undeniable but ignored repeatedly or just when it suits you, well, it will fade away and you’ll be on your own. Scary thought huh?  It’s a little bit like that person who constantly asks you for advice but always does the complete opposite so in the end why bother wasting your time and energy on giving advice for someone who doesn’t really value your opinion you know? Well this is what happens to your intuition if you don’t pay attention and heed the advice, messages and sometimes warnings. The trick to working with our intuition is being true to ourselves. You can’t manipulate your intuition into guiding you to something you want when you ultimately know deep down its not a good idea. You can kid yourself for a while, you can control your thoughts and convince yourself its ok but eventually shit will get real and it will all back fire on you. Every single time I’ve not listened to my intuition I’ve fallen flat on my face, sometimes in a big way and sometimes in a smaller way but it has always backfired on me. Intuition is clear guidance and messages from a higher power, a power who knows much more than we do about what is right for us and which is the right way for us go, there is always a bigger picture and we can’t always see this picture so we do need a certain amount of trust and faith when it comes to listening to our intuition. So, it makes no sense to me to ignore the guidance and I say ignore because it’s always there. Whether your intuition is screaming loudly or you feel that heavy feeling in the pit of your stomach it is always there, always guiding you. When you are 100% honest with yourself and living your true self connecting to and following your intuitive guidance it will not only put you on your true path but keep you there. It all comes down to living your truth, to stay on your true path you must follow your truth.Following our intuition feels good! We are guided to our best life, our best self and our true path and purpose so it will feel good. This is sometimes where trust comes into play. Writing this I’m reminded of when I used to work in an industry that was eventually not for me, at first I loved it but as I grew and changed I needed something different, less confrontational, less aggression, less complaints and more in line with who I was/am. But, I resisted change at the time as unhappy as I was working where I was I ignored my feelings and my intuition to just leave. In the end on my way to work one day I had a bad car accident, that was a huge wake up call, a massive slap in the face and literally stopped me in my tracks. My intuition was screaming YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY!!  After this I actually had another incident where my wind screen on the way to work completely fogged over and I could see nothing, this time the message was very clear, I was beginning to pay attention at this point and listen and I didn’t crash my car although I drove for several metres without vision I knew what I had to do. It took me a few more months to work things out but I left that job, I didn’t leave the industry right away but I did eventually and I followed and listened to my intuition ever since and it took a tremendous amount of trust and faith but was so worth it as it has guided me to where I am today, living my truth and my purpose. It wasn’t always an easy road, there were obstacles, lessons and healing along the way but what made an incredible difference and worked for me was getting myself to a point where I don't care what people think  about me or what I do, I just stay in my own lane and focus on my own work and my intuition hasn’t let me down yet! Annax
